A tour that shows you all the historical layers of this fascinatig city. We are starting at Brandenburg Gate which stood in the center of many historical events. Napoloen and Hitler were using it as triumphal arch, in the divided city it stood between the borders and faced euphoric berliners when the wall came down. We will walk through the holocaust monument and see what is left of the Nazi governmental district. We visit the site of Hitlers bunker, remainings of the wall and the famous american checkpoint charlie. Listen to stories of the third Reich, the cold war, the GDR secret service and much more. We will end the tour in the historical center of the Prussian kings with Forum Fridericeanum and museum island – be astonished by the beauty of the UNESCO world heritage.

If you want to see the heart of west-berlin around the famous Gedächtniskirche, we have to add one more hour and one ride with the public transportation.

Follow us through 5 centuries - our way leads us from the birthplace of the city, the Nikolaiviertel, over the palace square and the boulevard Unter den Linden to the amazing Gendarmenmarkt. Learn about prussian history and listen to stories about Kings ans Queens, architects an ordinary people... Our tour ends at the Brandenburger Tor, the only remaining city gate of the 18. century which nowadays is the most famous symbol of the german unification.

Berlin backyards

The layout of the quarter Spandauer Vorstadt is 300 years old. You will not only find the famous Hackesche Höfe but many others historical courtyards and unexpected perspectives. We will stroll through the street of tolerance with a catholic hospital, a protestant baroque church and a jewish graveyard. You will see the old Synagoge, many art-galleries and the oldest ballroom of berlin.

New Center and Governmental district

A unique situation after the wall came down: all of a sudden the former deathstrip was transferred into a huge development site in the center of an existing metropole. Architects from all over the world applied to build what is now called the New Center of berlin. Explore with us the new governmental district, the newly erected Pariser Platz in front of the Brandenburger Tor and the Potsdamer Platz.

Kreuzberg 36

The Kreuzberg-tour leads you into the famous quarter in wich squatterers and migrant were writing city-history. Immerge into a quarter in which us-soldiers were practicing urban warfare, in which squatterers were recontructing houses on their own and where thousands of migrants did find a new home. Explore a vibrant district, which is home all sorts of different people - between Graffitti, trailer community and luxory loft...

Berlin wall

Explore one of the biggest remaining parts of the wall in berlin. We start the tour at the famous american borderpost checkpoint charlie where worldwar three seemed to be close during the tank confrontation. We are passing Nazu history with the area of topografie of terror, before we use the s-bahn to get to the wall-memorial at the Bernauer Straße. An amazing historical site, where Ost-berlin windows were closed with masonry after people were jumping out of the windows onto the west-berlin pavement in front of their houses. Lots of tunnels were digged from west to east and east to west - many people could flee this way, some were killed. We explain the history and function of the border, we are telling you stories of getaway, betrayal and personal fortunes.


the tour ends at the Mauerpark, where, on sundays, you can stroll on the famous flea market and listen to international musicians in the park...or maybe sing karaoke in the amphitheater ...

Prenzlauer Berg

A quarter, wher after the wall came down, everything seemed to be possible. critics of the regime, boehemians, artists were living here. Nowadays 2/3 of the population is replaced and gentrification is the amoung the first associations when people talk about Prenzlauer Berg. Stroll with us through the ages and learn about nazi history, regime critics in GDR and idyllic family setting in a trendy district full of cafes and bars.
